So I asked my family for suggestions of a name for my blog. I got a few good ones. One that I liked was "Mah-waj. It's what bwings us togever today," from The Princess Bride. After all, marriage is what brings two people, and a family together. And a temple marriage brings a family together forever. Another suggestion was, The Culminating Covenant. The definition of culminating is to reach a climax or point of highest development. Marriage really is the highest covenant that we make. But the suggestion that I liked the most was Bliss with a Kiss. The definition of bliss is perfect happiness; great joy. Can marriage really be perfect happiness and great joy? I didn't go into my marriage to be miserable. I went into my marriage to be happy and to have great joy. Marriage isn't always happiness and joy or even fun at times, but it can be, and it should be. We have to work at it. Marriage is a journey. It's going to be hard at times and it is going to be great and wonderful at times. The journey is to work at it together. We need to enjoy being with each other. We need to be loving and helpful and patient and thoughtful and charitable. We need to remember to have passion and romance as well. That is where the kiss comes in. Be each other's best friend.
